Healthy puppies start with excellent care — from birth to their forever home.
Every PurebreedsKC Shih Tzu puppy receives attentive veterinary care, nutrition, and socialization from day one. Our goal is to ensure every puppy leaves for their new family in optimal health, with a strong foundation for lifelong wellness.
🩺 Veterinary Care Schedule
Each puppy receives consistent, professional veterinary care to ensure healthy growth and early disease prevention. Our schedule includes:
- Newborn Checkup: Within the first week after birth to confirm good health and normal development.
- 2–3 Weeks: Deworming begins and continues regularly until adoption.
- 6 Weeks: First round of vaccinations (Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis, and Parainfluenza).
- 8 Weeks: Full health examination by our licensed veterinarian.
- 10 Weeks (if applicable): Second vaccination booster and follow-up check.
🍽️ Nutrition & Daily Care
Our Shih Tzu puppies are raised on a high-quality diet designed for small-breed puppies. We ensure each pup gets proper nutrition and hydration, starting with mother’s milk and carefully transitioning to soft puppy food around 4–5 weeks.

🐶 Early Socialization
From birth, our puppies are loved, handled, and introduced to everyday household sounds, children, and other pets. This creates calm, confident, and people-friendly puppies who transition smoothly into their new homes.
📋 Before Going Home
Before adoption, each PurebreedsKC puppy leaves with:
- Complete vet health record
- Proof of vaccinations and deworming
- Signed Health Guarantee & Sales Agreement
- A cozy blanket with mom’s scent
- Puppy starter kit (including food sample)
